Robin Lee Jewelry on Ushops!

Part of my products has also been posted on Ushops! This is a quite new online store company located in Hong Kong. It’s a free marketplace. They are currently not charging any of their sellers. Charges may be occurred subject to their business growth, however, I have been told it will take another 6 months if there is any. All the sellers will be well notified before any charging action. Anyway, I just posted some of my products, and give a try!

Robin Lee

Robin Lee is eventually on earth!

They are my works! My handmade jewelry works! I have been preparing them for long. The upload took me ages to complete. It’s not an easy job at all by uploading them one by one. I took pictures for every single piece. Some took me hours to complete. I have been truly inspired to create all these pieces. They express the way I look at things, and the way I judge beauty and simplicity. Some are lovely, some are spiritual. They are my spirit and soul. I like to share. I think it’s better to keep them online rather than keep them in my own storage.

Etsy is a great place, where you can buy anything handmade. It’s an artist and a designer place. I sold one item successfully the first day I posted it online. I was very surprise about it as I didn’t expect any positive response of buyer within 12 hours after I posted it. Apart from my stuff, I am sure you can find lots of great and cool stuff on Etsy. I have more than 60 items, but only uploaded 39 items so far. I will update it from time to time and whenever I have new ideas again. Well, it’s personal interest, nothing big. However, please feel free to visit, comment and pass it around to your friends and families.

Chinese Santa Claus

A Chinese looking Santa Claus……I found it in the Park’n Store of Shenzhen.

It looks funny. It looks like a Chinese new year idol rather than a western Santa Claus. It could be a Chinese cross over idea. :P

My sister and H & M

My sister did something today that I certainly won’t do in my life. She queued for the entry of H & M in the first day opening. She was hoping to get some M Collection items signed by Madonna. (Madonna wasn’t there for signing of anything though. ;-)) H & M offered 20 free trench coats with signature of Madonna for the first 20 people in the queue by the main entrance of Central store on the first opening day. They also offered 500 free sunglasses with signature of Madonna for people queued after the first 20. My sister failed to get any of those as she was obviously in the position of somewhere after first 500 people in the queue. However, she managed to get the Madonna handbag, which was in the following shown photos. Hong Kong is the first place, where H & M announced M Collection in the world. The second place will be the U.S. This promotion attracted over 1,000 people to queue for the entry of store in the first day. My sister told me some people actually were by the main entrance during mid night. I really can’t imagine how people would do it. My Mum and me both think my sister is mad, as it’s not something that our family would do. Besides, she is the company staff of H & M, so she shouldn’t need to queue for anything in our opinions. Well, we just laughed at her in friendly way as long as she is happy then we are happy. :-)

Apparently, my sister found her photo in the news part of H & M on HK Yahoo. She was taken in the shopping scene by the press. :P The press promotion of H & M is the most successful campaign in the recent HK fashion industry. They invited stars/famous designers to be the guest designers of their clothing collection and sell them with reasonable prices, which is a very creative idea. None of fashion stores of high street has never ever done it. They put up image of Madonna on a big billboard in Central that creates attractions. Creative idea is not easy to get, but once you find a successful one then it would bring you unlimited business opportunities.

Sister top

top.jpg

I went shopping with my Mum today. We both found a top that we both like. She asked me if she is fine to get the same top with me as she thinks she will make me look old if we happened to wear the same top the same day. I said it’s absolutely fine, and found incredible to find a top that suits both of us. :-) She is sweet! We may look like sisters when we wear it together.

Ikea! Idea!

I haven’t been to Ikea for ages. I can’t remember when was the last time I went. I went to shop with a friend today. I found some interesting stuff that absolutely caught my eyes. This hanging light design is absolutely stunning. It’s simple, but very refereshing. It’s not expensive too. I did a bit shopping of their food section. I love their food. I bought a bottle of Swedish mixed jam of raspberry and blueberry, Crispbread and double chocolate crisps. I should have their set meal next time. The last time I had it which was few years ago in Taiwan. I love the salmon fish and meat ball meals of their food section. Absolutely delicious! Their Christmas decoration this year is cute too. The heart shaped lighting makes me feel so in
loved. ^_^

Shopping

I had dim sum today for lunch, and went to Century City for shopping. Dim Sum is about the same as HK, but fortune cookie is given after meal. Fortune cookies are always common in Chinese restaurants anywhere besides Asia. In fact, I did have Japanese meal three days ago but didn’t take photos of it. I didn’t buy much stuff as most of stuff is quite expensive. They are nothing good price without sales. Most of items are similar to what we have in HK but they are more expensive when tax included. I only went to few stores, which we don’t have in HK such as Banana Republic and Victoria Secret. Century City is nice as it’s an open shopping area. California sunshine is certainly great as I never sweat no matter how hot it is. :)

My Indian shoes

32.jpgI bought a pair of Indian shoes today. I love it very much. It is completely hand made with leather. The quality of needlework is very good. The embroidery looks like a piece of art. It’s not expensive too. I bought it in an Indian shop around Soho area, but the shoes are actually made in Pakistan. There are many to choose from, but each style has limited sizes available. There is no specific size marked on shoes anyway, I guess hand made items are usually like that. I always like hand made leather items with detail patch works and embroidery.
