Shopping in Italy
Apart visiting rest of the tourist spots, I couldn’t resist to shop in any shops I passed by. Italian sales are very smart. The are very much similar to the sales in H.K. They all know how to sell their stuff to target consumers.
Sales: Where are you from?
Me: Hong Kong
Once she heard that I am from H.K., she immediately took out many possibly styles of clothes that I might buy. They all know Asian can shop, especially Chinese tourists these days.
Sales: Look at this! It’s Made in Italy! Nowhere else in the world you can find this quality, only in Italy!
Bingo!
They all understand shopping mind of Asian. They all know that we like buying things, made in Europe. In fact, it’s not easy to find things made in Italy these days, even included expensive brands. You will find everything easily made in China, regardless they are from low end to high end. Most of stuff I saw in the U.S., they are always made in China, some may be made in Vietnam or Cambodia. I found most of items are on sales in Rome with around Euro20, they are usually made in Italy. If same price you found in Spain, they are mostly made in India. This is the major difference of shopping in these two places.
Sales of shop did follow me around when I was in Florence, once I got in one. Most of stores are in chain, so those sales do mange few stores on the same street. Pretty interesting!!
Anyway, I am indeed happy with my shopping in this trip!

Black Friday
A day for Shopping!! Oh well, I already shopped enough in Miami, so I didn’t do much shopping in San Francisco. I didn’t find things particular bargain on Black Friday anyway.
We went to have a gorgeous seafood lunch in Swan Seafood Depot, which is a family run store located on Polk Street more than 30 years. It’s a well known place for raw oysters, and it’s unbelievable delicious.

We spent an hour for queue up….

Everyone sat by the counter with long queue behind their back. Many were so pleased to wait for hours and hours.

We had raw oysters and clams. Their clam chowder tasted strong flavour of clam. It’s very fresh.

The crab Louis salad is just too tasty to be true. I couldn’t resist their raw scallop.

We passed by China Town when we were in the cable car.

Topshop New York
Topshop eventually landed in Soho, New York. It was my favourite shop when I was in England. Their stuff were not expensive at all I remember so well. Their price was good enough for students, but now they are so expensive. LoL

Size queries
I cannot fit in size zero here. In fact, the U.S. size zero is equivalent to medium size of H.K. I have been many local clothing stores already, and did make neutral judgement on overall sizes of women clothes. My God! Nothing is in REAL small size! They all are big in my eyes. I can only fit in size of petite double zero from Banana Republic, and it’s just the average small size of H.K., not even in category of our extra small.
I was looking around in Victoria Secret, and sort of looking for something suitable. I spotted that the size of extra small is actually equivalent to our size of medium. Gosh! Anyway, glad that I could save some money as nothing is suitable for me. LoL
No commentsMy new companion, Mr. Brown
Hello! Brownie….I guess I just love eating too much of chocolate therefore I ended up buying a new camera in brown colour. This is not type of colour I usually will choose, but I just did it. It looks elegant, professional, and it also looks mature - Lumix DMC-FX38
I did buy it in big bargain. Apart from the discount price, it came with many small gifts such as additional battery, 8GB memory card, two camera cases, a camera tripod, etc. It has been out in the market for 6 months, and been said it’s old stuff for IT geeks. LoL
My dearest friend, Sony DSC-F77 has been with me for almost six years. It still works, but it does break down sometimes. Batteries are totally out of use. I am not a bad camera user as I can keep one for more than five years. I am a loyal owner actually.
Maybe, it’s just time to change! New colour, new style, new life, new image, new scene and NEW ME!!

Designer sunglasses for USD14.00?!
Look at this photo though those small words you can’t read it clear. Let me state in here…
“USD14.00 for a pair, USD20.00 for two pairs.”
Each pair of sunglasses is with a big label in the front naming some well known designer brands such as Ray Ban, Gucci, etc…
Those small words state “compare to our quality of Gucci, Ray Ban…..etc.”
Well I didn’t read them all, but what it means to tell you that they are the same quality as those designer brands. Those sunglasses are actually fake designer brand items, but of course the quality of them is far behind the real things.
Dear! I found this is quite ridiculous. I am very surprise that they can sell fake designer items in the public mall. You can find many fake designer items in many public malls of Mainland China, such as malls in Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Shanghai. You will also find them in Mongkok, Hong Kong but not complete public. Basically, people will get into serious trouble if they sell such items in public. And I found them in the international mall of Miami. LoL

Robin Lee Jewelry on Ushops!
Part of my products has also been posted on Ushops! This is a quite new online store company located in Hong Kong. It’s a free marketplace. They are currently not charging any of their sellers. Charges may be occurred subject to their business growth, however, I have been told it will take another 6 months if there is any. All the sellers will be well notified before any charging action. Anyway, I just posted some of my products, and give a try!

Robin Lee

Robin Lee is eventually on earth!
They are my works! My handmade jewelry works! I have been preparing them for long. The upload took me ages to complete. It’s not an easy job at all by uploading them one by one. I took pictures for every single piece. Some took me hours to complete. I have been truly inspired to create all these pieces. They express the way I look at things, and the way I judge beauty and simplicity. Some are lovely, some are spiritual. They are my spirit and soul. I like to share. I think it’s better to keep them online rather than keep them in my own storage.
Etsy is a great place, where you can buy anything handmade. It’s an artist and a designer place. I sold one item successfully the first day I posted it online. I was very surprise about it as I didn’t expect any positive response of buyer within 12 hours after I posted it. Apart from my stuff, I am sure you can find lots of great and cool stuff on Etsy. I have more than 60 items, but only uploaded 39 items so far. I will update it from time to time and whenever I have new ideas again. Well, it’s personal interest, nothing big. However, please feel free to visit, comment and pass it around to your friends and families.

Chinese Santa Claus
A Chinese looking Santa Claus……I found it in the Park’n Store of Shenzhen.
It looks funny. It looks like a Chinese new year idol rather than a western Santa Claus. It could be a Chinese cross over idea.
