It’s my cooking. I bought these peppers in the supermarket. I just love them, love the colour.

I do some works in my hotel after I come back from the office every night. The rest of time I blog, I eat and I watch TV. I enjoy so much being all on my own every night after work. The TV programmes I watch here that make no difference from what I usually watch in H.K. I watch Larry King, Late Show with David Letterman, CNN and Anderson Cooper 360 at home. I watch the complete same things here. I feel very much like being at home here.

I experience different supermarket food every night. I decided not to have a BIG meal every night, but to have several small meals the whole night. Hahahaha! I bought some microwave food yesterday. They only cost USD3.99 for two packs. They are small in sizes, so I won’t get full at once. I am able to have different things later on.

It’s not something fancy, but quite tasty.

Then I had Pita Chip and Cuban cracker with butter for snack. I will have double dark chocolate muffin when I am hungry again later. LoL

My colleagues continued to discuss why I am so thin while I was having my lunch. I finished all my grilled shrimp salad with no problem, but they couldn’t finish theirs. LoL

It’s a tea bag from Argentina called Yerba Mate. My colleagues introduced me. They keep me drinking it for two days already. They said they want me to experience everything here, and of course I am opened to it. They put sweetener inside of the tea. I wasn’t very used to the taste of sweetener, but after two days I am fine with it. It’s a tea that makes you feel relaxed. It becomes the second type of drink I have in the office now apart from Cuban coffee.

We had pizza ordered for lunch as I suggested having it. Then my colleagues ordered the pizza for me, and we shared. They came with HUGE size, something almost 18″. Domino was late for delivery almost two hours, so they gave us extra one for free the same size. lol It was in medium size actually, but was huge in my eyes. I ate more than my colleagues. They wondered why I could stay so thin. I told them I was natural borned thin. I explained people hundred times when they asked me. I got no idea, but I am healthy. In the end, I brought the remained pizza back for dinner.

My driver introduced me some Cuban snack when I did grocery shopping after work. It’s tasty. They are with cheese, ham and potato called Latin Croquettes Hot. I love shopping in supermarket here. It’s big with MANY choices of everything in HUGE size. I love the sections of cheese, bakery, meat, yogurt, milk, herbs, chocolate and desserts. They are wonderful.

I drink lots of water here, like more than seven bottles a week. I don’t drink that much at home though. The bottle water here tastes sweet….

The sea view was amazing. Weather was beautiful. My mood was colourful. The food was wonderful. I had great time on Miami Beach. I had great food in the mall of Lincoin Road where you can find many open cafes. Most are Italian cafes.  I feel my life is full of colour.

I sat on the beach for two hours as I tried to make myself to realise this is true, “I am on Miami Beach”. I really can’t believe I am on Miami Beach. I can’t believe I can have my feet soaked in the Carribean water. Miami is somewhere that I have never thought I would go as it’s far from my usual travel idea. It’s absolutely no Asian in the surroundings of this place. I have never thought I would have my current job, and be in Miami!! How amazing!! It’s like a dream, a dream I have never dreamed of, and that came true in real life. So everything could happen, guys!! You never know!!

It was quiet, peaceful, a little hot with a little wind. It was just perfect! I wore too much clothes as I didn’t know that the weather is just like summer of H.K. >_< A woman who even had sunbath with topless. I had so much clothes on.

I did have great time today in Dolphin Mall. I went for screen shopping with colleagues. Dolphin Mall is with so many branded retail outlets that offer bargain price. Things are not bad overall. I did have great shopping!! Restaurants are great in there. It’s filled with Caribbean atmosphere. People were dancing around. The weather was glorious!! It’s like summer in H.K. It was so hot!!! People were wearing T-shirts with shorts, and I was wearing something lone sleeves. LoL I didn’t know that the weather would become so hot.

I did have trouble to get taxi back to hotel actually. I stayed alone until 9pm. I called a taxi, but it didn’t come. I kept calling, and the operator kept saying the taxi would come. In the end, the driver called me that he couldn’t reach me because I was standing in an exit where his taxi company can’t serve passengers. He suggested me taking taxi nearby. He was talking in some Spanish and also in some English. I didn’t get what he means therefore, I asked a strange to talk to him in Spanish. The stranger translated what he said to me then I knew I should get a taxi nearby. LoL I was waiting for almost an hour! I can’t believe that, anyway, I got back safely with all my shopping.

Overall, I did have a great day, very much enjoying myself in this Caribbean corner.

After 8pm, there was live performance on the stage. People were dancing Salsa. Fake snow was falling down with Christmas music around. It was funny as everyone was wearing T-shirts with shorts. I didn’t know that hot Christmas does happen in Florida!!

I indeed ate too much. I can’t believe that I could finish a 10″ L x 5″ W double thick chicken steak sandwich all on my own for lunch today. LoL I can finish American size!! I was thinking to have pizza at night by ordering room service, but in the end I decided to cook some pasta in my room. I tried not to eat something too rich all the time.

I have two laptops now. The new big one is for work. It’s something that I will never choose due to the size of it. I like small laptop with light weight, however, based on work budget I can only choose the standard size one with screen of 13.5″. It’s a Lenovo with 4GB RAM, and 1.6GB for the hard disc as well as 150 pixels of web cam. It’s a bit heavy, but something very practical. I bought it in H.K., and brought it here for installation of company programme. It only costs USD822.00 with installed web cam and many free gifts such as headset and a nice carry bag, really not too bad.

I know I am strange to bring two laptops over by hand carry, but I need them for different usage. Moreover, I have too much old work data in my personal laptop, so it’s better to bring it with me for this trip.

I bought my dinner in the same restaurant where I had been for lunch. Cuban sandwich is on the menu of most of restaurants here I noticed. I can’t help to try one. It’s so delicious. It’s huge in 10 inches long with roast pork, ham, pickle and cheese. I can only finish half. And I love it!!!

My God! My life is always with eating no matter where I am.
