Place I used to hang around….

I used to hang around a lot in the local night market for daily dinning. Night market food is very local and very delicious. They are nothing fancy. You have to eat on the street, but I like it though.

Local Japanese eating

We went to Mos Burger for breakfast. It was almost two years ago the last time I ate in Mos Burger.

I saw the same Japanese pancake in LA, but I didn’t eat it as I was too full that night. I saw them again in Taipei, so we did order it. However, I shared this with Carrie. We cannot finish the whole piece either. Those in LA are twice bigger than those in the photos.

Ni Hau!

This girl is still selling lemon juice in the local market where is near to where I lived two years ago. She must says “Ni Hau!” ( How are you?) as long as someone walks pass her stall. So you can imagine that how many times of “Ni Hau” she says in each day? and she has been saying it for several years and will be more as long as her business never goes down…:) Funny eh?

Continue to eat….

I went to Taiwan after I left LA. I travelled by Eva air therefore I stopped in Taiwan for few days. Carrie joined me in this trip as she wanted to go for hot spring. I didn’t eat too much during my days in Taipei as I did eat a lot while I was in LA. The LA dinning keeps me full in my entire trip. :) I am feeling too happy and too sweet to eat that’s why! ^_^ Carrie ate a lot in this trip! I shared most of my food with her as I can’t finish most of them. I was invited to have dinners with ex-colleagues, UK mates and my boss, therefore I had several dinner gatherings. Here are my food photos.

You can only find such ice desserts in the local night market.

At Sprazzo

Okay, I had nice dinner again tonight. It’s the second Italian restaurant I visited during this trip called Sprazzo. I had cuisines of Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, French and American seafood during this trip. They all are great restaurants. I enjoy all of them and I also love to walk around by the beach. The sunshine here is wonderful. I will miss LA. :)

The most romantic restaurant in LA….

I enjoy the outdoor dinning experience in Inn Of The Seventh Ray . The atmosphere is great! They also provide very nice organic dishes and healthy drinks on the menu.

Sunday in LA

We went to see The Illusionist in AMC Theatre at Century City. I like the movie and the theatre but find the advertisments and trailers were playing too long before the movie actually started. It took more than 30 minutes for showing all of them.

After we watched the movie, we hanged around in Westwood. We had afternoon tea in Green Tea Terrace and shopped around in the supermarket. Green Tea Terrace offers various kinds of Japanese tea. Their ginger ice cream is very nice too. It’s also a typical student place where I can tell by the atmosphere.
