Winter idea in Robin Lee

It has been two months I haven’t done any new designs but I got a new idea today. I received inquiries that people are interested in my design for production orders, not only buying one or two pieces. I am not doing good on Etsy, but it isn’t too bad by production sales. I did receive an email that an organisation asked me to join a handmade jewelry design competition in Chicago. Oh well, I guess I feel a bit lazy to do so…..^_^ Anyway…here you go…Robin Lee….

My book arrived

My handmade jewelry book eventually arrived. I ordered it from Bead Style. I subscribe the Bead Style magazine since I visited L.A. a year ago. I will stop ordering it after the subscription is completed this year as the content is very much the same every issue apart from the new materials have been introduced. The design and style are not something special. I can do my own design. I learned enough the handmade technique from the magazines. This Birthstone jewelry book is something special with 38 projects designed with various birthday stones. It came with a free ring project included Swarovski crystals. After I got this book, I really have everything I need, and able to do more design.

Robin Lee Jewelry on Ushops!

Part of my products has also been posted on Ushops! This is a quite new online store company located in Hong Kong. It’s a free marketplace. They are currently not charging any of their sellers. Charges may be occurred subject to their business growth, however, I have been told it will take another 6 months if there is any. All the sellers will be well notified before any charging action. Anyway, I just posted some of my products, and give a try!

Handmade love story

It’s such a lovely ring. I have never thought that ring can be handmade in this way, but it can be made! Here is the story on Etsy. It’s so sweet to get something handmade for your love ones. This is what I love to do. Things handmade represent a lot in lots of aspects. It is done with your soul, mind and heart. It’s not something that can be replaced by any purchase in stores. It’s all your own efforts for your special love one. You cook, you create, you design, you paint, you sew……what else? Many many…..ideas are never ending…and long lasting…^_^

Robin Lee

Robin Lee is eventually on earth!

They are my works! My handmade jewelry works! I have been preparing them for long. The upload took me ages to complete. It’s not an easy job at all by uploading them one by one. I took pictures for every single piece. Some took me hours to complete. I have been truly inspired to create all these pieces. They express the way I look at things, and the way I judge beauty and simplicity. Some are lovely, some are spiritual. They are my spirit and soul. I like to share. I think it’s better to keep them online rather than keep them in my own storage.

Etsy is a great place, where you can buy anything handmade. It’s an artist and a designer place. I sold one item successfully the first day I posted it online. I was very surprise about it as I didn’t expect any positive response of buyer within 12 hours after I posted it. Apart from my stuff, I am sure you can find lots of great and cool stuff on Etsy. I have more than 60 items, but only uploaded 39 items so far. I will update it from time to time and whenever I have new ideas again. Well, it’s personal interest, nothing big. However, please feel free to visit, comment and pass it around to your friends and families.
