Hello! You are in the space of Yogayuga, a place where I can share my inspiration and experiences with all of you. Yoga is my favourite activity for relaxation and inspiration. Yuga is just a sound that I make up to match with Yoga. I tried to give my domain a memorable and impressive name, which can represent my personal experiences and myself. In the end, I came up with this name for my site – Yogayuga!
The owner of Yogayuga is Joyce. Yes, I am Joyce. My parents call me Wing Chi at home. It’s funny that my sister likes calling me Lee Wing Chi, which is my Chinese full name. I am from Hong Kong. I was born on January 2nd, 1974.
I love to eat and cook but I never put on weight. I enjoy dinning and traveling. I like having drinks in an open café. I also enjoy sunshine on the beach, but I cannot swim. I used to obsess with art, design, painting, and theatre but now I only consider them as hobbies. I can still paint, and do it quite well. I graduated with two design-based degrees – Graphic Design and Design and Management. However, my jobs did not end up in either of those areas. I am not completely an art person. I also have many other interests. I love technology, so I am always interested in the latest cameras, mobile phones, computers, and internet. I can play with my Vaio for internet surfing all day long. I can also stay at home quietly and do meditation. Yoga is one of my major inspirations in life.
I studied in the UK and NZ. I also lived and worked in Taiwan. I travel to China frequently for work, but lately I have started to settle more in one location, Hong Kong. I enjoy traveling because I can experience and feel the differences of various cultures. I am always a student when I travel because I am always ready to pick up new knowledge and concepts for personal development. I am a flexible and harmonized person, and am always able to adapt to changes and different environments.
I particularly love history and the Bohemia culture of Eastern Europe. I enjoy the atmosphere of the laidback life of Thailand for holidays. I fancy French fine art, movies and enjoy French coffee, but not the cold of Paris. I usually love sunshine and summer, but I do enjoy the cold and winter in Prague.
I like listening any kind of music. They can be Italian opera, French techno, British electronic pop, Four Seasons from Vivaldi, Air Supply, Ryuichi Sakamoto, 20s French classic and many others. I enjoy learning Ballroom and Latin dance very much too.
