Simply life
I found the bakery called Simply Life on the ground floor of my office building produces unbelievable delicious pastries and croissants. It keeps me visiting more than twice a day during my work hours.
I thought I did put on weight as I eat a lot lately, but in fact I didn’t. LOL
I got a phone call yesterday from a company called Absolutely Slim. They help ladies to lose weight if you pay them money.
The lady on the phone said:
“May I ask if you weight over 120 pounds, and shorter than 5 foot 3″? We are looking for a person who can be our image representative of our latest advertisement on press. We will help you to lose weight, and present you as a successful icon of our company.”
Hahhaa..I can’t help to laugh, and said “I am so sorry, I can’t help you as I am too thin to help…..hahhaaa! You found the wrong person.”
God knows why they got my number. My mum got the same call too the same day she told me.
Hey! This piece is huge!! like 10″ long….no kidding!!

The chocolate croissant in the topmost photo looks simply delicious. I always enjoy your descriptions of meals and places that you eat. You have very eclectic tastes.
Regarding the phone call from “Absolutely Slim” – - I receive several messages weekly from similar companies that apparently do not have the knowledge to properly conduct marketing research to ensure that they reach their target customer base.
Just yesterday, I received a message that began “Do you desire to become the woman of his fantasies? We can help! Our company has developed a line of pheromone-based fragrances that are guaranteed to drive him wild with passion and lust for your womanly charms . . . ”
Since I am a heterosexual male, it gave me quite a laugh. However, it is good to know that if I ever became a CIA agent and required the ultimate disguise – - – that there is a product readily available that would quickly allow me to become the “woman of his fantasies”. It could come in quite handy during escape and evasion. LOL!

It was funny about your phone call experience. I guess we all couldn’t get rid of them at some points. It’s the way to make sales, no?
