Proper dinner
I was eventually able to order something proper for dinner – Lobster Ravioli and Key Lime Cheese cake from Harvest Delights again. The restaurant owner certainly remembers me. When I entered the restaurant, she came towards me immediately and said ”It’s so nice to see you again!, so how long are you staying in Miami this time?” I said “Two weeks or a bit longer, it depends.” She asked me to drop by sometimes, just enjoy the food in her restaurant not to bring them away. If I could drive, I don’t mind driving to any restaurants where I enjoy to stay. I should start my driving lesson after I return to H.K. My plan had been called off because of my eye surgery.
The day I arrived in my hotel, I did order food by room service. It was funny. I ordered Raviolo but the delivery came with a MEDIUM size Pepperoni pizza. It looked huge in my eyes. They made it wrong, however, I took it as it was already very late. I was starving!!!

I did some food shopping in the supermarket, but probably leave them for the weekend.

I have never been waiting at any airports for such long time in my life. 8 hours!!! And only in New York!!! LoL Hope it’s the only once and that’s……
Two hours of waiting at the customs….three hours waiting for the next flight….then another three hours waiting of our flight taking off……….The weather was too bad in N.Y. so the plane couldn’t take off.
I arrived at 1:30am in Mimai airport. I checked in the hotel at 2:00am. I had my late dinner at 3:00am by hotel food order service, and finally slept at 4am. I got into the office at 9am. I very much appreciated my body and soul that I have such energy to support myself. My eye surgery didn’t do me any harm at all. I am still very much a “Pack and go” person. I packed my luggage this morning, and next day I can be in a city of another side of the world.
Weather of New York……well, it didn’t look bad to me, but it maybe bad enough for the landing.

At the AA Admirals Club…..

New York! New York!
I am now in New York though I am only at the airport. I am resting in the AA Admiral Club for little rest and some food before I go on board again. The journey was horribly long this time. It took 15 hours plus 2 hours of customs waiting. A group of Aussi students was on the plane, almost 5o of them I think. They all dressed in school uniforms. They went through H.K. to N.Y. The customs didn’t open all the lines for visitors’ entry therefore the process was so slow. I dare to say that it wouldn’t happen in H.K. All lines must be opened under such situation.
I thought of myself flying on plane years ago as a student when I saw those Aussi secondary school kids. Time passes quick……indeed!
I am extremely tired. I couldn’t sleep much on the plane. I can’t imagine how I can get up in the next morning, and be in the office at 9am. LoL
Glad that I didn’t get out of the airport within the transit period. I planned to get out of the airport for 2 hours, but I was advised not to due to the terrible traffic jam around the airport area on Sunday.
Time to go on board…
No commentsUnbelievable super busy
I have been unbelievable super busy these days. I almost can’t breath, but strangly I enjoy it. I am flying off early morning in few hours, but still blogging.
This job does keep me working 24 hours a day, day and night. I am chasing the time – the U.S., and H.K. time. At night, I worked with my colleagues. During day time, I work with vendors. I also work with an American vendor, who work like the way I do. I got three mobile phone numbers, H.K., CN and the U.S. Since I took this job, I feel I am in everywhere, no definite location. I speak English more than Cantonese even I am in H.K. I am in H.K., but work under the U.S. time. Blackberry is definitely the best device all bosses love, because their employees can be touched anytime anywhere. My God! You can check your email without switching on your laptop. Work mails follow you around even you are on holiday. Mine is connected to head office work station, so the email alert is on and on all the time.
Anyway, I enjoy it. I enjoy achievement. My colleagues said I am workholic. Yeah…I think so too. Well, you feel fullfilled when you make certain achievement in life.
I am leaving now, and see you at the John F Kennedy Airport, as I am going to stuck in there for 5 hours ………transit to the next flight…sigh! LoL

I wouldn’t say I enjoyed this film very much but this story deeply touched my heart. It was too upsetting. Love is no age gap in my eyes. I truly believe that without any doubt. The story didn’t explain too much in details why both characters got in so deep emotionally towards eachother, however, I think is something unexplainable. After 20 years away from eachother, he was still so in love with her…..oh dear….is sad….I am so sentimental. LoL
Kate Winslet certainly acted so well. Ralph Fine of course is wonderful as always. I always love Ralph Fine.
No commentsMy dancing buddies
It was a dancing competition today, Ballroom and Latin. Two couples of my dance studio partcipated the competition. One couple won the forth place of the ballroom dance section.
It was such an enjoyable afternoon!
I am also preparing my medal exam. I have been on and on for months, and the final date is set on May 17th. My teacher told me that I will be the first participant of Latin dance section on the list of the day. My teacher is dancing with all his students in the exam, so the first one should have some advantages I guess.
At least, he wouldn’t be too tired to begin with…hehe…
Here are some fantastic videos I share with you all. My new camera indeed works very well….
The Ballroom winner couple…….

The Latin couple’s videos…
Line dancing from some “Tai Tai”. It means mature married ladies

Busy eating busy working
I have been super busy lately for work but I didn’t forget my usual eating habit. Delicious food really motivates my life!!
These are what I had this month – three Korean meals, three Japanese meals, one Indian meal, one Shanghainese meal, one Thai meal, one Chai Zhou meal, one American meal, one Xie Zhun meal and uncountable tea and coffee, desserts time………dear!!…personal and business meals are all included. Very likely, I am going to have Jewish meal next week. I will be very busy packing next week, and preparing lots of things before I head off to Miami again.

My new companion, Mr. Brown
Hello! Brownie….I guess I just love eating too much of chocolate therefore I ended up buying a new camera in brown colour. This is not type of colour I usually will choose, but I just did it. It looks elegant, professional, and it also looks mature - Lumix DMC-FX38
I did buy it in big bargain. Apart from the discount price, it came with many small gifts such as additional battery, 8GB memory card, two camera cases, a camera tripod, etc. It has been out in the market for 6 months, and been said it’s old stuff for IT geeks. LoL
My dearest friend, Sony DSC-F77 has been with me for almost six years. It still works, but it does break down sometimes. Batteries are totally out of use. I am not a bad camera user as I can keep one for more than five years. I am a loyal owner actually.
Maybe, it’s just time to change! New colour, new style, new life, new image, new scene and NEW ME!!

Delicious Korean meals
I had Korean cuisine three times this month. The first time I went with my dancing friends. The second time I had with my American vendor, but was a barbecue meal. It was just a day ago. I had it again with friends tonight. Of course, I only took food photos for those I had with friends. I won’t do such things in business meals.
The one we had tonight, it was the most delicious…….It is the Korean spicy steam boat, it’s something totally new to me.

My favourite Kimchi soup!!
