Somewhere In Time on Mid Autumn Festival
Watched the same movie but experienced different feelings after twenty years later. It was twenty years ago the first time I watched Somewhere In Time. I watched it on video at home on my own. I couldn’t help to weep at the end of the film due to the sad ending. Twenty years later, I watched it with my Dad at home on Mid Autumn Festival. I didn’t weep, but did feel romantic. The ending did give me some thoughts. Perhaps someone you truly love, you would meet him/her again in the rest of your life.
And my Dad became my romantic partner of the night. Hahhahaa! We both are fans of Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. Jane Seymour was so beautiful in the film, and she is now still beautiful. I watched her on Dancing with the Stars at the beginning of the year. She is still very charming and elegant. Christopher was so handsome, and poor him, he had already gone.
My Dad told me that this film was played on one of our cinemas for few years during early eighties. I am not surprise as I don’t mind watching it again and again. It’s such a piece of antique romance classic you must watch once in life time. Unforgettable!
