The end and the beginning…

“I wish everyone, friend or foe, well and that is that, the end”

Tony Blair has stood down as prime minister today. I still remember the excellent speech he gave ten years ago on the first day he became prime minister. The way he described Princess Diana as “people’s princess”, that I believe many won’t forget. However, Tony Blair’s family posed outside Downing Street for a final time today. I think the Question time is still not an easy section for Tony Blair’s last day as prime minister.

And Gordon Brown period begins.

The Prime Ministers place was never Tony Blairs to begin with. It was always Gordon Browns. Some argue Blair did a great job but was it really him? Or was it Gordon Brown in the background…

History moves on. And so does Brittania!

Tony Blair and his team did alright. Part of the credit should go to Tony Blair, and part to those who provided direct support to his endeavors. They ALL made it happen.

However, the last decade clearly has shown day by day that the Prime Minister’s Place was indeed Tony Blairs.

Anyway, Gordon Brown is the prime minister now, no matter if he was in the background or not. If he was in the background, then the war issue he was also involved…
