This is known as “summer moon illusion.” I learned about this when I was a psychology student. NASA’s explanation is here: http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2005/20jun_moonillusion.htm

You have no sense of romance, TT! (just kidding)

Interesting link that verifies what I always suspected, but a Harvest Moon or Moon Illusion or whatever it is called is still quite a sight.

My wife has the same complaint about me, though she is happy that I don’t romance on the internet either.

I appreciate the science behind a Harvest Moon or Moon Illusion, and I also appreciate the romance of circle dancing with good looking naked women under the Harvest Moon as well.

The science stimulates my cerebral processes, and dancing with the women . . . well, I digress. It is all to be savored for the speck of time that we hurtle through the Universe - - - all together, yet each seperate and alone.

Speaking of time, here is a link to a different “watch” concept on how we should measure, use, and track it.

I can see my Rolex GMT Master being listed in the TimeZone sales corner very soon

Thank you for the moon and watch information. It’s my first time to hear about the summer moon illusion.
I always like looking at the moon. It’s comfortable feeling by looking at it. I also like the sun, sun rise and sun set are beautiful. :-)
