I did this today. I know that my blog is lack of posting lately, but really, I do have many things in mind that can be written. I just feel a bit lazy to put them down. :P It’s cold at the moment but it will be warm again the coming weekend the weather forecast reported. The public holiday starts from tomorrow for 5 days included Easter and Ching Ming Festival. I think I will do more postings then. Promise!! ^_^

Ah, Ching Ming! In english “Clear and Bright”. The time of year when Chinese families show their respect by visiting the graves of their ancestors to clear away weeds, touch up gravestone inscriptions and make offerings of wine and fruit.

A very respectful remembrance of those who have gone before. Sadly, we do not have any organized festivals such as that here in America.

Yes, this is the festival, but nowaday people don’t necessary to pay for respect of our ancestors exactly on Ching Ming Festival. People do go anytime they want, but majority still go on this special day. I think HK people are getting more casual now with the traditional festival.
