Massive attack of Bibi!!
How can you do this to me? Bibi!! >_<
She destroyed my T-shirt. She almost torn it into pieces. There were many holes on it. I only wore it once. I washed it by hands, and dried it on top roof. It was blown away by the wind, so Bibi got it. I bet she must be happy to find herself a new toy. >_< She doesn't usually do such things, but God knows what happened to her today. I punished her, and showed her my T-shirt. Obviously, she knew what she did, and didn't make any noise at all. Animals must be punished when they do something wrong. You have to show them what they did, and punished them immediately otherwise they wouldn't realise they did the mistake.
You can see that she kept looking down, and didn't want to look at me. This is her naughty and guilty look. Oh well, overall it's just a T-shirt, and sure I will use extra clothespin next time! ![]()

Hahahahahahaha… gotta love pets! Just your tshirt - you gotta consider yourself fortunate! Ulala gets to all the clothes, magazaines and wooden furniture here!
Oh well, you also need to punish your pets when they are not good enough. Dogs are very clever. They know what they are doing for good or for bad. Sometimes, they bite things for getting your attention.
Just a week ago, my wife baked half a dozen of cheese biscuits and placed them on the kitchen’s counter top. She then left home while I was upstairs. My 7-year old parrot (a black-headed caique), normally uncaged, flew to the counter top and helped himself with the biscuits. He sampled each one of them. He probably also played with them, because some of the biscuit pieces scattered all over the floor. He is toilet trained so he normally could “hold” for 30 minutes. But this time he also pooped on the counter top (probably he was jollying there for an hour). When he saw me, he was totally frozen because he knew that he had misbehaved (Bad bird, he just couldn’t help it). Since then, he is locked up in his cage whenever no one else is in the kitchen. My wife think that I am too harsh.
Pets are smarter than we think, particularly they have figured us out after all those years.
TT - Your parrot is toilet trained? Is this an unusual trait for a parrot?
Can your parrot talk? You should train him to say, “I’m a bad boy!” whenever he does something wrong.
These stories make me glad I just have houseplants…
JC: I spent 10 minutes to make this up for you: http://ooo000.com/tt/pidgey_on_yoyu.htm
Despite all the mishaps, pets are better stress relievers than houseplants in my opinion. But I won’t recommend pets if you are a frequent traveler. We feel bad every time leaving him to our veterinarian when we are on family trips.
TT:
You certainly have a beautiful and clever parrot. It’s not easy to have a parrot toilet trained though. I bet you can teach him to speak many things. He must be a very clever one, especially under your great teaching skills.
TT, that’s certainly a smart and well-trained bird. I can see how he gives you and your family a lot of joy. It almost makes me want to get a pet too. Alas, I do travel quite a bit, sometimes at the last minute, so it would be unfair to the pet to regularly move him around. I even make sure to get plants that retain water well, such as aloe, so they can last the 10-14 days I may be away. I haven’t killed a plant yet…
Thank you for introducing your pet to us!
Joyce,
Dogs always are lovable and perpetual two year old children. They give you more love than any creature alive, yet they are always willing to start some new mischief!
My Latte’ who is an eight year old mixed breed (commonly called a Poi dog in Hawaii, or a Mutt in the rest of the United States) has recently begun putting her head into the Cats litter box to enjoy the experience of snacking on cat dung. A behavior that I am working very dilligently to break!!!
TT,
Very nice Caique!!!!! Knew what breed of Parrot it was as soon as I saw the photo. Great markings!!!
Jim:
I do agreed with you about dog. They act like human too. They are just like kids!
