Birthday

How old are you?

I am 33!

Gosh! How come I don’t feel embarrassed when people asked me such question on my birthday. Be honest, I never feel embarrassed when people talk about topic related to age and birthday. It’s a kind of embarrassing topic about people’s age in Asia especially for women. Most women don’t like being asked how old they are regardless how old they actually are. I am exceptional for this topic. I always answer this question right away without hesitation. I have friends who don’t like telling people their age, and also don’t like being asked for such question. They will keep their mouths shut, and show their unappreciated facial expression in front of you. For me, I just feel this is a fact; there is nothing to feel embarrassed about. I will do something with my true self and listen from my mind. I am still VERY ME!

The ribbon earrings are one of my birthday gifts. Apart from this, I got a sweet birthday card with delicious Pastrami sandwich :-), a lovely birthday song, :) Lola make up, a pair of pearl earrings, a watch, red pocket money and delicious dinners. We don’t have family birthday dinner this year as my sister was in the hospital. She is fine now, already home. :) We all spent most of our time in the hospital accompany her. My parents do still treat us as little kids however; we are a very close family. :-)

I am 51 years young, myself! Good for you to feel no embarrassment when telling other people your age! Physical aging is beyond our control as Human Beings, therefore to my way of thinking - - there is nothing to feel embarrassed about.

My heartfelt hopes that you had a very pleasant day for your birthday - - - and may you live long and prosper!

I agree! Absolutely nothing to worry about in telling your real age. Just like me, I’m proud to be sweet 16! ;)

    Anyway, Happy Birthday! 生日快樂! おたんじょびおめでとう!
And, Happy New Year! 新年快樂! 明けましておめでとうございます!!

    3 languages, just for you!
