Scandinavian thought

Occasionally, my sister brings some clothing samples back from her company, H & M. Most of items are very nice, and these are extremely cute, and very Scandinavian. H & M is from Sweden, so their design is very much Scandinavian I am not surprise but these make me to think of my Norwegian friend, Cecilie….I wonder what she is doing now with her baby boy, Olai. Maybe she is having her second baby already….oh well! Let me find out sometimes. :-)

Time to shave

43.jpgBibi has all her hair shaved off today. Mr. Fat came to pick her up. She has her hair shaved off about three times a year. I used to do some little trim for her but her hair is growing faster and faster. She is still the same naughty always without many changes though she is already 9 years old. She is an old dog already, but still acts like a puppy. Mr. Fat said she behaved better this time without temper and attitude. I guess she sees him more so she starts to know him well. Bibi is not easy to manage as her temper is too bad. hahahaha! I should be responsible for her attitude as it means I didn’t train her good enough. It was exhausting to take her home by holding her all the way from car park. She attracted some male dogs come over, and followed us which I usually can’t manage. You can’t imagine how awkward it was having several male dogs following around a thin girl holding a fat dog. She is so heavy, and fat. She weights almost 40 pounds. Her weight is almost half of mine. Gosh! I don’t let her eat too much when I feed her, but my Dad always feeds her with too much food. That’s why she ends up so fat. She also loves to sleep, doesn’t move much. Sigh! L0L

Sky?

mis.jpg

It’s a mistaken photo. I don’t know how I took it, but just happened. It does look like taking from the sky, but I am sure it wasn’t. I didn’t take any sky scene……weird!

Doctor Zhivago

I watched Doctor Zhivago on TV last night. It’s a great movie, but too sad to watch. I doubt I want to watch it again as it’s too upsetting. The ending wasn’t under my expectation. The doctor lost his love during the wars, suffered from the wartime hardship, and died by heart attack on street in Moscow at last. Most of old films do have similar story backgrounds all about wars and sadness love stories. Some of them are very upsetting. I think I am a kind of person too easy to be touched so those stories I must remember well. I also love Casablanca, Gone with The Wind and My Fair Lady. There are series of old films showing on our English TV channel for almost two months. I can’t wait to see them all though several I did watch, I don’t mind seeing them again. The actors and actresses I like the most from these films are Clark Gable, Omar Sharif, Vivien Leigh and Audrey Hepburn. :-)
I always love old films. The spirit of these old films can never be found in the new films nowaday. I started to watch most of them since teenager. I was influenced by my Dad the most. My parents love to watch old western films. They were talking about it from time to time, so I started to watch them. My Dad used to love Superman, Superwoman, Charlie Chaplin and James Bond so I did see most of the related series and movies. Some of them were in black and white too.

Sister top

top.jpg

I went shopping with my Mum today. We both found a top that we both like. She asked me if she is fine to get the same top with me as she thinks she will make me look old if we happened to wear the same top the same day. I said it’s absolutely fine, and found incredible to find a top that suits both of us. :-) She is sweet! We may look like sisters when we wear it together.

Thanksgiving meal

I had the Thanksgiving meal in American Union Bar and Grill of IFC, which was a really good meal. I can’t finish the whole meal even I shared with my friend. The full course meal included turkey with stuffing, apple salad with blue cheese, pumpkin soup, apple pie with ice cream. Every dish was in large portion. They served the same meal whole day on Thanksgiving Day. The restaurant was so packed, and fully booked. I was going to Main Street Deli, where is a popular place for Thanksgiving meal but was totally booked up. Anyway, I had a cheerful day. Happy Thanksgiving!

The best Vietnam coffee

This is the best Vietnamese coffee I have ever had. The restaurant food is fine, but the coffee is definitely good. Gosh! I don’t even notice the name of this restaurant but just learned that it’s very popular in Causeway bay. :P

Ikea! Idea!

I haven’t been to Ikea for ages. I can’t remember when was the last time I went. I went to shop with a friend today. I found some interesting stuff that absolutely caught my eyes. This hanging light design is absolutely stunning. It’s simple, but very refereshing. It’s not expensive too. I did a bit shopping of their food section. I love their food. I bought a bottle of Swedish mixed jam of raspberry and blueberry, Crispbread and double chocolate crisps. I should have their set meal next time. The last time I had it which was few years ago in Taiwan. I love the salmon fish and meat ball meals of their food section. Absolutely delicious! Their Christmas decoration this year is cute too. The heart shaped lighting makes me feel so in
loved. ^_^
