Because of Halloween…

My Dad acts like kid again. He hanged the puppet up under the ceiling this afternoon, which he bought from Eastern Europe last year. We asked him why?? He said because of Halloween…L0L

I was at the Tropicana Hotel Casino in Atlantic City yesterday, there were some pre-Halloween activities going on, lots of people old and young dressed in costumes from the traditional vampire and witches to Hollywood movies’ characters to sexy bunny girls, the place was like having a Mardi Gras. // We go to Paris on our own, not the tour, and we won’t have time to visit all the museums in Paris, only have 5 days in the city (three days in the wine reigons). So we only manage to visit three major ones. Hing does not favor in too many museum visits.

Yes, same here…if you are in HK around LKF and Soho area as well as any pubs and bars around TST and Wanchai, you will see everyone dresses up for Halloween. Halloween party is popular here. Ocean Park also has special Halloween visit for a week.

Wow, three days in the wine regions, then I can tell both of you love to drink!!

I walked by the Natural History Museum yesterday (the activity I had yesterday was “A Sunny Afternoon in Central Park”), there was a kids trick or treat event inside the museum. Kids in costumes were all accompanied by their parents.

Bonjour! Paris was beautiful, worth to go but would recommend to go during the low season. Even now (Nov. and just before the holiday seasons) is already crowded with lots of tourists. Disney Paris was very slow though, did not have to wait for those thrill rides. I was looking at the Eiffle Tower from different locations and during different time. More details to follow in my blog, I will send you my web album when those pictures are ready.

I guess Europeans are not very much into Disney, and also it has been Paris for long. Their Disney doesn’t have much big changes for many years. I didn’t even go to Disney when I went to Paris. I heard they are just alright. Yes, winter is peak season in Paris as well as summer, but in summer you can’t expect shops to be opened. French likes taking summer holidays included banks, shops, cafes and restaurants. Many only open for few hours a day or none. Therefore, many like visiting Paris after summer, and for Christmas shopping. Bet you shopped a lot! :-)
