   How did you like Catalina Island? It is beautiful indeed. What I like about So. California is the weather that I can wear a skimpy top that I cannot do near San Francisco, it is always cold here in the morning and evening where you have to wear layers. I missed Summer in So California this year. Perhaps when my doctor authorized me to go out, I WILL go somewhere hot!

   Sorry missed your phone call. I was out with boyfriend, thought you were going to call 2 nights ago. Yes, the food portion in the US is huge and that’s why people are bigger here in general, plus they don’t walk too often, always in cars. LA has a lot of pretty people because there are tons of actors and models, depending on which part of LA you visit. My friend lives near Korean town. And it’s huge. LA is a busy city, just that they are all in their cars instead of walking on the streets. You most likely to get darker and fatter when time to leave, that’s what happen to everybody who visits US from Asia.

   Thanks for the pictures. I miss that sunny weather too. Hopefully San Francisco will warm up more in September. Right now it’s typical Bay Area - fog in the morning, fog at night.

   Enjoy the weekend! Don’t know if you’ll be going to Venice Beach or not.

   Yes, I did get darker for definite, but I still didn’t put on much weight.

   Catalina Island is great! You should pay a visit.
