I like the idea of this ice cream store. Three steps of choosing what you like for your ice cream…
1) Your flavour of ice cream
2) Three choices of mix-in and there are so many choices! I chose fresh mint, M&M and Blueberry with strawberry sauce for dressing
3) Chocolate cone or cup
Many people eat it for fun. It attracts people watching. I felt a bit funny of taking photos how the owner did the ice cream. I asked him if I could take photos of what he was doing. He said “sure!”. A little kid was standing next to me, and watching me how to take photos of it. He must thinks…”this woman is so weird!”

That looks extremely decadent!
Cold Stone is perhaps the first chainstore in the US that offers this. Try it when you visit LA.
If you would be visiting the kitchenware stores (or Macy’s) in L.A., check out if the store carries the same kind of cold stone that you can freeze in the freezer then you could make your own homemade mixed ice cream just like Cold Stone’s.
